2007 Sponsorship Program

Band members and boosters solicit local businesses and family members to sponsor individual band students. Sponsors names are included on show shirts, and receive other benefits based on the level of sponsorship. Please hurry to contact businesses and any friends you think might be interested - the deadline is August 4th. This is an absolute deadline to give us time to have shirts and banners printed in time for marching season. Here is a link to the 2007 Sponsorship Form. Have those buying sponsorships fill it out and turn it in. It includes the information below to help you explain the plan to potential donors.

The sponsorship plan works like this.
For a tax-deductible donation of $100, $250, or $500, you may sponsor the band member of your choice, and have your family or company name printed on the band’s show-theme t-shirts (worn to every competition), and other benefits according to the level of sponsorship you choose. We have one Family Sponsorship and two Corporate Sponsorship levels as follows:

$100 Bronze Sponsorship – (student gets $20 credit towards his/her band fees)

• your name printed on the show t-shirts, and
• a listing in each issue of the Commodore Bands Newsletter for the 2007 season

$250 Silver Sponsorship – (student gets $50 credit towards his/her band fees)

• name or logo printed on the show t-shirt
• a sponsorship “thank you” announcement at each home football game
• company name printed on the traveling banner, displayed at all competitions and home football games
• a listing in each issue of the Commodore Bands Newsletter for the 2007 season
• a preview of our show with special seating at our Parent Preview Performance in September

$500 Gold Sponsorship – (student gets $100 credit towards his/her band fees)

• name or logo printed on the show t-shirts
• company name printed on the traveling banner, displayed at all competitions and home football games
• a picture of the band to be displayed at your place of business
• a listing in each issue of the Commodore Bands Newsletter for the 2005 season
• a sponsorship “thank you” announcement at each home football game
• a DVD of the complete 2007 Tates Creek Commodore marching season
