Congratulations
to all of our Symphonic Band Members for a stellar performance
at the State Kentucky Music Educators Association Convention in
Louisville, Kentucky, Friday February 4, 2005 at 4:00 p.m. Guest
conductor Joe Allen and guest trumpet soloist Mark Clodfelter
joined director Ms. Janet Allen, assistant director Andy Critz
and our band to present a half hour of excellent music to conference
attendees, parents, and other audience members.

Results
The
Tates Creek band had 22 students chosen to go on to the second
cut of All-State tryouts. This is the most students ever chosen
from the TCHS band program! The students will try out on Saturday,
December 11th at John Hardin High School to earn a seat in the
All-State bands.

Symphonic Band Honored
The Tates Creek Symphonic Band
has been chosen as one of only thee bands in the state to perform
at the 2005 Kentucky Music Educators Association In-Service Conference
in Louisville. The band will perform a 40 minute concert for all
the elementary, middle, high school, and college music educators
in the state on Friday, February 4th at 4pm in the Kentucky International
Convention Center. It is a tremendous honor to be chosen to perform
for this prestigious event. Congratulations to Ms. Allen and Mr.
Critz and the Tates Creek Symphonic Band! |
