| Message | It's only taken me a few months after I graduated to realize we had a message board. :) Oh well. To this year's guard, after watching you guys practice this past week I have no doubts you will be amazing this season. No lies. To the weapons: HOLY SMOKES! Yea i had doubts, but for being so young ALL of you look like you've been doing it for years. Remember girls it's not all about the techinique and the instructions, its about the new people you meet, the friends you never forget, and pushing yourself to the limit. I love you all, and will visit (with popsicles) often! :) |

| Message | Hi! My name is Elizabeth, and I'm a french horn player at Murray High School. You guys are going to love Mr. Bishop. He's a phenomonal person and director. Anyway, I'm sure getting a new director is kind of rough, but be easy with him. You'll love him:) |

| Message | Mr. Bishop, it's been an extreme honor to have played under your direction for the past two years. It's a sad thing to see you leave, but i'm sure it's in the best interest of you. Good luck with the following marching season. God bless and i'll truly miss you. P.S. Dont be a stranger. Drop by and see us sometime. I know i'd greatly appreciate it. |

| Message | I just wanted to say that we rocked this year, and that I'm really going to miss everyone next year. Not everyone knows, actually, I think Lauren is the only on who DOES know, but I think that I'm going to try out for the Dance Team this year. Before everyone gets all mad, please realize that it is my senior year and that I need to be dancing. I loved band and colorguard the past two years, and I'm going to miss everyone very much. Colorguard-- You all will be fine this year without me! lol Not that anyone will miss me that much, but I WILL be at some of the competitions cheering you all on. Count on it. I hope you all are as wonderful next year as we were this year, and keep the band members on their toes and thinking about how wonderful the guard reall is. I love you all and I always will. I already miss our seniors horribly, and even though I only got to meet some of the freshman (and only twice) I know you all will be wonderful. (and please know that I'm not quitting band or colorguard for dance team. I just need to be dancing, it's the only place I'm comfortable. I loved colorguard... and I'll miss it... but I NEED to dance. And I didn't have dancing in mind when I made this decision... it was just spur of the moment) Love you all! ~Leah |

| Message | I'd just like to give a big congratulations to everyone that tried out for drum major. You had some very difficult audition material to prepare, but you all brought it to the highest level of achievement last night. This was easily the closest auditions have been top to bottom since I've been invloved with the program, and that's a good thing - to have EVERYONE bring their A-game and make our decision difficult. To those who didn't make it - there's nothing to be disappointed about. You each did an excellent job and I know you'll take what you've learned and apply it to leadership on the field, in the concert season, and in next year's auditions. To Anastasia, Lauren, and Jessica - Congratualtions! Your hard word paid off. I know you will represent the title of "Tates Creek HS Drum Major" with dignity, pride, and class. Remember, this doesn't mean that you're better, it just means the expectations are higher! I know you'll all do a great job. Having worked with all 6 of the auditionees, I can say that next year's leadership is looking VERY strong, on the podium and off! |

| Message | Hey guys! Just thought I would let you all know - Drum Major clinics start this week: Thursday at 7 in the band room. So if you're interested, you should definitely come. You don't have to try out, you can just come to learn about it if you want to. Check out the flyers in the Band room for more info. Hope to see a lot of you there! |
